Sometimes I hide away from humanity,
From the loudness, the pain, the hurt,
And the friction that our humility can bring.
Other times I lean in,
Urging heartbreak,
Urging that temporary touch of hearts,
That fulfills us.
Such as when I watch the stars twinkle,
And somewhere across the lake,
Someone plays Bobcaygeon,
Of which I adore.
Then I realize,
Everything is going to be okay,
Everything will be okay…

I light up my inner world,
