Sama

Spin, With your arms outstretched,

Focus on the hand, Watch, As the world blurs.

Feel the arrow Thud.

Keep spinning.

Watch the arrow strike Opening the chest.

Sunlight spills in, Illuminating, What was already there—

Like a sunray After a winter storm.

Beauty appears.

Molasses

If you live fast, You die hungry.

The lunar cycle, Lasts days,

Anchoring us, To this very moment.

There’s being, In momentary passing.

Let patience be, As slow as molasses,

Let its sweetness, Trickle down from Heaven.

One From Water

Look and see, How like the sea,

Life is full of tides:

Rising in the West, One finds thrashing white-caps, Reducing us to our core.

Rising in the East, One finds still reflecting water, Lulling us gently to sleep.

Both worlds, Come from the same soul, Requiring one side, To give rise to the other.

There is no darkness without light, There is no winter without summer.

Wherever you are, You are not.

Lighthouse

With my hand on my chest, I light up the inner world, I am my own lighthouse.
